Why would I automate interior design?

- [William] Placing wall accessories like wall protection, door signage and corner guards in Revit can be time-consuming and downright boring. Using a program to automate the placement of geometry that can easily be placed based on rules or logic can make this dull task seem a lot more exciting while saving us all time to do what we like best, actually designing the interior of a building. Designing healthcare and educational facilities in Revit throughout my career has left me required to placed repetitive geometry in a Revit project very frequently. Working in Revit and Dynamo from start to finish, I'll walk through building the Revit family components and the Dynamo scripts required to place those families around the rooms. I'll I've an overview of how rooms work inside of Revit to give an understanding of how the geometry we'll use to select and place all the wall components in the room actually works. So join me, William Carney, as I share some of the tricks I've learned over the years to reduce mundane tasks using Dynamo in this advanced Revit and Dynamo course for interior designers.
