Working with placeholder sheets
- In this video I want to show you an alternative way to create sheets called placeholder sheets. Now, placeholder sheets are created directly from a sheet list schedule, and what's handy about this method is, you can create an entire list of sheets very quickly in your sheet list, and then, when you're ready, you can create all the sheets from that list in a single step. So, let's go through the process, here. This particular project doesn't have any sheets yet, so we're going to create the entire sheet list here. So, I've already got a sheet list schedule, and it's currently limited to just the sheet number and the sheet name. And up here on the ribbon, is an Insert Data Row button. Now, I'll click that, and Revit will suggest the first sheet be named A101, and if you're happy with that name you can just accept it, and then, over here, it's unnamed, and I will change this to Floor Plans.
