- [Instructor] So we're staying in our 1031 Southeast Madison 001 CAD drawing, and in the previous video I talked about using your own standard in your CAD drawing before you start bringing it into your BIM workflow in Revit. Now the reason we're talking about this as I mentioned is the fact that you can work with the layers in the CAD drawing in Revit as well. So layering is a very fundamental part of your standards and your BIM workflow. Now you'll remember in the previous video we set up our text layer, so we're going to jump back into layer properties, so home tab on the ribbon, layers panel, and layer properties, and there's text, our current drafting layer with the green tick next to it. Now you'll notice that it kind of stands out because all the other layers have the appropriate standardization you can see that there, you've got the A, the number, et cetera, et cetera.
