- Once again we're staying in our 1031 south east Madison project 001rvt file. And again I must stress this is a Revit 2020 rvt file. So you can only open it using Revit 2020, be aware of that. Any subsequent versions of Revit, Revit 2021, 22 et cetera will be able to open this file but just be aware that obviously they will update it to the current version for each version that is released. You can't use for example Revit 2019 to open this Revit file. Be aware of that, its an important part of your BIM workflow making sure that everybody's got the version of Revit that work with the version of the Revit files you're using. It's very important, think about that for a moment and it could have, rather large ramifications within your practice.
