Working with slope arrows
- [Voiceover] In this movie, I'd like to talk about slope arrows. Slope arrows offer a way to create slope that follows along the direction of an arrow that you draw manually. It does not have to be perpendicular to any of the edges of the sketch. So it offers a great alternative to defining slope in roofs, floors, and ceilings, when you have a situation where the slope does not follow the edge of the sketch. So lets look at a couple quick examples. Here is a totally flat roof over here, that's along this small square shape. And I'm gonna edit the footprint and i wanna click this button right here to draw a slope arrow. Now, when you draw a slope arrow, the only real rule that's important to keep in mind is the first point of the arrow is the tail and it must be on the sketch. Now, it can be anywhere on the sketch and for this example I'm gonna put it right there at that end point of the sketch.
