The architect's lean BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
- Building information modeling has reinvented much of how architectural projects are won and produced. There is not a solitary path to BIM success within the industry, and being a BIM leader requires flexibility. Technology is always advancing. We must all practice continual learning in order to keep up. The number of BIM tools we have at our disposal advances daily. Navigating those waters to lead a team towards efficiencies and also fostering exploration is a challenging, but rewarding, endeavor. In my LinkedIn Learning course, I review how developing an architect's BIM execution plan can help structure your firm's BIM management to bring consistency to your successes while mitigating your challenges. My name is Megan Johnson. I am the Director of BIM at ODELL Architects, an international architectural firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. I hope you join me as I discuss how developing this document can advance your firm's BIM approach to get your firm to the next level.
