- [Instructor] Questions about what kind of data the facility teams need, and how that data should be structured, and who should input the data, have taken forefront in the architecture and construction industry. There's no question that the work can be done. The question is, how should the work be structured? What kind of data do facility managers need? What is the data structure, and where should it live? Should it be in a RABBIT file, or should it be in an Excel file? Who should obtain and input that data? These are all the questions the industry has been working to answer. As it turns out so often in the industry, the answers tend to be organization specific, if not project specific. If this a large ground-up sports stadium, the facility team might only be interested in the one-time use of the data to kickstart their asset management softwares.
