Analyzing surface radius and curvature

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll take a look at analyzing the radius and the curvature of surface objects in Rhino and these are properties that come in handy in all sorts of different workflows. So, to help us out, I've got the Exercise File surface curvature.3dm open and you can see here I've got a few different surfaces that we can work with. Let's start off simple and look at the Radius Command. So, under Analyze, we can pick Radius and so this actually prompts us to select a curve for radius measurement. Now, in the case of a surface like a sphere, this is actually really useful, we can get the radius of a sphere, it's going to be the same at any point on the sphere, all I need to do is mouse over that edge profile of the sphere, click on it and I can see the radius is nine units, centimeters in this case. What if I have a surface though, that is less regular than a sphere. So these freeform surfaces…
