Associative History toggle
- Rhino's associate history feature allows creation of spacial relationships between different parts of a model. And this makes design updates much quicker and much easier. To help us learn about associate history, I've got the exercise file associative-history.3dm open. Now, we can find a toggle for history, up here above the view port. This history toggle, lets me turn on or off associative history. And, that is something a bit similar to what you might hear called parametric modeling, where certain parts of geometry are linked to others. And as we make changes to one thing, they sort of cascade to other pieces. This is one part of the interface that can be a little bit confusing since there are other things that are also labeled history, but that operate differently. So, I'll show you those first.
