Boolean union techniques

- [Instructor] So, we saw some abstract examples of when a Boolean might fail. Let's now look at a real world 3D printable example to better understand unioning and define a smart workflow. In this example, I have a section of a model that's at a one foot equals one 32nd inch scale. The client in this case wanted a sample print of this portion of the building to confirm the print quality for the final physical model. When I intend to 3D print a model, I usually save Boolean unioning all of my solid geometry for the very last step. Before I start to join everything together, I like to make an identical copy of the project that I'll keep as an un-joined version. The reason I do this is in case anything goes wrong in this step, I'll have some unsullied geometry that I could potentially pull into the project and reuse. So, we'll keep this off to the side for now, but may use some of those pieces for later. So, if you're lucky…
