Building buttons

- Coming up, we're going to build some buttons! The big challenge here is, we have no flat areas to locate the buttons. Our case is a compound curving surface. This means that it curves in two directions like a sphere as opposed to one direction like a cylinder. Let's Zoom-in to the button-making construction zone. Three things we want to keep in mind here is we're going to have to create a button that includes a base. Also I'd like to build the well, or opening, with the button at the same time. And then the access will be fairly critical for later manipulations. So here's the three curves. You notice the bottom right there. These are the shapes that resulted from the revolve. However, we're going to need a destination for these guys to be located. I've created a couple of control points up here. We want to get those on to the surface down below. Let's go ahead and just draw a box around those control points, and then hit CTRL to deselect the curve. I just want those four single…
