Building the earring hook

- [Voiceover] We're going to now build our ear hook for this earring. Most of the times, you can simply get the earring hook as a finding from any manufacturer, but for this purpose, we're going to build it from scratch. So the first thing I want to do is take the halo surface and hide everything else. I'm going to go this part of the top section here and just go to our Extract Isocurve command. I'm going to click here and draw a stractal line going this direction. Then I'm going to toggle it. So I'll hit T then Enter so we can snap to the quad of that top section here. Then what I want to do next is do a circle from diameter. I'm going to snap to this intersection right here. I'm going to click and rotate towards the top view of this model. And holding the Shift key, I'm going to pull out until I have an interior diameter of about one and a quarter. So I'll type in 1.25, and we'll grab this circle and just pull it up a little bit.
