Building rectangles and polygons

In this video we'll explore the use of Rhino's pre-programmed 2D shapes, focusing on the polygons. The generation of these shapes is very similar to building them manually except that Rhino makes it very easy by combining all the options together. Since I've recommended you build 2D curves first and then create surfaces or solids second. Your familiarity with the range of Rhino's 2D shapes is a huge boost for your productivity and accuracy. Fortunately, these are all extremely well-labeled and organized. So let's get started. I'm going to leave this curve drawing toolbar open where we're going to do all of our work. But these commands are available in multiple occasions like a lot of other commands. So we can see some of the rectangles here, so that's on the curve menu. We see polygons and rectangles up there.
