Building the shells and mounts

- So in our last video, we built our metal frame. Now we'll continue by building our plywood shell and our rubber shock mounts that will connect the shell and the metal frame. Alright, to begin, as you can see, here is the metal frame from last demo. I'm going to turn on this layer here, and what I've done is, I've created some line work that alternates between eight inches and four inches. When I turn on the form that we made in our last demo, this is going to help us generate the geometry for the shells. I'm going to hop into our top view. I'm going to select all of these lines, and I'm going to use the Project command. The Project command will project those lines perpendicular to the construction plane, which is represented here by our grid. So, I'm going to hit Enter. It's going to ask me for the surface, and that is our form work, and I'll hit OK. So you can see that those lines were projected up.
