Building the surfaces of the shank
- [Voiceover] Let's now take a look at building the surfaces for the shank. First thing I'm going to do is maximize our perspective view port. I'm going to take this finger sized guide here and I want to copy it over to the work layer. So to do that, I'm going to right click on work wires and we'll use copy objects to layer. And now we can hide the original finger size curve. You can see that it's now the same color as the shank layer. So I'm going to select this guide here and type here ungroup or hit control shift g for ungroup. And now we can delete this little text shape. I'm going to select this curve here and I'm going to run the split tool. Take this curve here and this cross section and hit enter. And we'll just keep this right side in our seam. I can now take this curve here and delete it. Because we don't need it. And same thing, we don't need this one here. I'm going to take these two curves here and now it gives me the opportunity to run a sweep two command. I'm going to…
