Combining the bezel to the shank
- [Voiceover] We're now gonna look at combining the bezel to the shank. The first thing I'm gonna do is get rid of some of the curves that we used to shell out the shank. We can hit Control + F two to select only our curves and deselect the finger size guide. From here I can now delete those curves. We can go into the Rhino commands here and while the shank is selected I can go and go into the duplicate border command, so all the open borders are producing curves. We can deselect the top curves here and delete this one here. What I wanna do is close this hole up, so what we can do, you can notice that there's a little bit of a tail here. What I wanna do is close it up, but because there's a tail here it's not gonna patch or cap properly. In order to make it nice and capped you have to create some sort of cutter that will make it planer. Planer meaning every single edge or curve is flat on a plane.
