Command icons
- [Instructor] For those that prefer working in a graphic interface, virtually all of Rhino's commands can be accessed through icon-based buttons. In this video, we'll explore some of the ins and outs of using the command icons. And to do that, I just have a blank file open in Rhino. By default, you'll see the main and standard command icon pallets in the middle part of the left sidebar. All of these icons can be used to access Rhino commands. Some are single-button commands. So for example, Explode activates the Explode command when we click it. Let's cancel out of this for now. Other command icons actually hold groups of similar commands within them. So these are the ones with the little black triangle in the lower-right corner. So for example, the curve group holds many different variations on ways of drawing curves. And I can access any of those sub menus by left-clicking and holding. And that lets me access…
