Command line
- Rhino for Mac is a command driven program. That means that every operation is done with a specific named command. Now we can directly access commands in Rhino in three different ways so we can go through the menus which contain many of the core Rhino commands grouped by function. So for example, under the curve menu I could draw a freeform curve with control points. We can also go through the command icons on the left toolbar. So I could find that same control point curve right here in the command icon or we can type directly into the command line. Type in the Command C-U-R-V-E that accesses the same curve command. Now the command line lets us access any Rhino command even a few esoteric ones that aren't in the icons or the menu and other than those few commands that are command line only the choice of whether to activate a command with the menu versus the icons versus the command line is really just a matter of…
