Converting the body to a NURB

- Let's take a look now at working with converting our T-spline models into NURBS. We're at a stage now where we've established all the forms and shapes for our model, but at some given point you will have to convert your models into a NURB to complete it for prototyping or for making this a completed model. So, to do that, we're going to first remove all existing symmetry that we have on our meshes. So, to start with the propeller, we're going to select it, then we're going to go to Symmetry and use the right-click to turn it off. Then we'll go to the body and do the same thing. Right-click on Symmetry until the green line is off. There we have it. Now, to convert it to a NURB, we're going to use the conversion tool that I showed you in the previous lesson. We're going to go to the propeller first and go to the conversion and this time you're going to right-click. And you can see now that this model is no longer a T-spline, it is now a NURB. We can now take this body and do the same…
