- [Narrator] Next up we take a tour of the layout pages. This functionality is greatly expanded in the last few versions of Rhino. So if you haven't tried using layouts you might be surprised how much they can do. Let's talk about the difference between layouts and model space. The model space I've nicknamed design zone. And everything in it is propagated or displayed in the layout space. Or our printing zone. You can access the model space traditionally through all the view ports you are familiar with; perspective, top, front and right. And everything in this scene should be full size and three dimensional. But once we get to the layout space things need to be smaller and scale down so they they fit on a two dimensional sheet. Now back in the model space we're using large, full size units. Like feet or meters. However on our much smaller page we'll be dealing with inches or millimeters.
