Creating revolved surfaces

- Now we'll work on creating Surfaces using the Revolve command in Rhino 5 for Mac. Here we've got a couple different profile curves to work with. Revolve creates a Surface by rotating a profile curve around an axis. If you've ever made something on a lathe or a pottery wheel, you'll probably feel right at home using Revolve. So, we'll look at making Revolved Surfaces with two different commands, Revolve and Rail Revolve, and we can find those commands under the Surface menu, or through the Surface icon, or just by typing them into the command line. So let's try a simple Revolve with this curve. And before we start, there's a few important things to pay attention to. Now the first is to think about where our Revolve's axis of rotation will be, and if I look from the Front viewport, I can see I'd like to rotate this around the z-axis, and since I'd like to make a closed solid Surface with this Revolve, I need to make sure that I snap the endpoints of my curve to the grid, otherwise…
