Creating solid objects

- Let's take a look at creating some of our own solid objects from scratch in Rhino 5 for Mac. I've got a couple of example layers in this file that show the end results of what we'll cover here. You can skip ahead and take a look if you'd like, but for now, I'm just going to start off in an empty layer, and build everything step by step. The Solid Menu in Rhino 5 for Mac has lots of options for making solid, primitive objects, in addition to other commands for doing things like editing solids. Some of these primitive commands, like Sphere and Torus, are single surface solids. Others, like Truncated Cone, Cylinder, and Pyramid, are polysurfaces. So, we've seen a few examples of each of these types in the past, but just to review, let's create a few solid primitives in Rhino. We'll start with some single surface solids, so, maybe, let's start with a Torus. So, I'll go ahead and just click to set the center, and the radius, and the second radius, and I can see I get that kind of a donut…
