Defining form using the Extrude, Boolean, and Two Objects tool

- In our last video we learned a little bit about the history of the Cafe Chair #14. Now we're going to jump into Rhino and start to build our own chair, inspired by the #14. To follow along with me, you'll need to have a basic understanding of the commands in Rhino. If you need to brush up on your Rhino skills, make sure you check out "Rhino 5 Essential Training" with Dave Schultze. Before I dive in, quick note. If you've used Rhino before, you know there are many ways to access a command. When I'm showing a technique to people who might be kind of new to the program, I try to use the pull-down menu. I think it reinforces where things are located but if you prefer, feel free to use whatever you're comfortable with. So let's start. Here's a quick model I did of the original chair. The two different sets of compound curves create the legs of the chair. What I want to point out here, is that this back leg also serves as the back of the chair. So let's start to model.
