Drawing circles, ellipses, and arcs

- Circles, ellipses and arcs help us to draw organic forms that still retain precision. To help us practice with these commands I've opened the file ellipse-arc.3dm And you can see here, I have a reference picture which we'll use as a reference for our shapes. Maybe we're planning to recreate a section of this mosaic as part of a restoration or something. So let's zoom in here and I want to try to find first some circular shapes. So I can see these patterns here would be great candidates for tracing over with a circle command. And I can get to that under my Curve menu in the menu bar. And under Circle, I can see there's lots of different variations on ways to define a circle. The most basic is setting a center point and a radius. I'll zoom in even a little bit closer. And I'm doing this without Grid Snap on since I want to be hueing closer to my photo rather than Rhino's grid. So first I'll need to click to define the…
