- [Instructor] Freeform curve commands in Rhino for Mac offer a range of starting points for organic modeling, and they're great because you get a balance of flexibility, along with precision. In this video, we'll look at three different freeform curve commands and to give us something to work with, I've got the exercise file curve-freeform.3dm open, and you can see I've got a reference image to work with. We'll cover how to do that part in a later video. For now, let's practice tracing outlines of these vase forms with freeform curves. So I'll zoom in here to take a look at this far left one and under the Curve menu in the Free-Form, subset, let's look at the Control Points curve. Now, as I trace these profiles, they're mostly symmetrical, so I really just need to worry about one side.
