Drawing polygons

- Polygons, are often the building blocks of complex forms. If you remember from geometry, you know that a polygon is a planar shape with three or more straight sides. That means squares, rectangles, pentagons, hexagons, triangles, and so on, are all polygons. In this video, we'll practice drawing a few different polygons and to help us do that, I've got the exercise file, polygons.3dm open Here, I'm using this picture as a reference and we'll cover how to set up an image like this in a separate video, but, for now, maybe we can imagine that we're designing some sort of a tiling pattern and we want to test out different shapes that might fit together. So, let's start by just drawing some rectangles. Under the Curve/Rectangle menu, you get a few different variations on ways to draw rectangles, I'll just grab the most basic one, Corner to Corner.
