- [Instructor] Rhino's Picture Frame command helps us draw a rectangular planar surface with a Bitmap image assigned to its material for rendering in the viewport. I've got an example of one here in the exercise file modeling-picture.3dm. Picture Frames are useful for reference elements. For example, if I wanted to trace the hexagonal pattern here, I could use my Picture Frame to line up my shapes. Picture Frames could also be used in rendering. For example, if we wanted to set a background to a scene to give it more character or more context. So, let's take a look at setting up our own Picture Frame. I'll go down to the Layers panel here and just toggle off Visibility on that picture layer. And let's go up to the Surface menu, under Plane we have the Picture command. And I'll just go into my exercise file. The one I'm looking for is this polygon-ref.jpg. Now, Picture Frame will work with many different Bitmap files. So…
