Editing curves

Now that we've got a handle on some of the nuts and bolts of curves in Rhino 5 for Mac, let's put some of our knowledge to the test and do a little bit of curve editing. Here, we'll be making a profile curve that we could use to build something like this vase shape. So, the vase is the finished product, and in this video, we'll focus on the building block of that surface, which is the profile curve, and I can see that if I toggle off this surface layer. So I can see here in purple, there's my profile curve. So in Rhino, we can build pretty complex surfaces like the vase, just from very simple profile curves. You can think of the profile curve kind of like a slice of the overall surface. And in later chapters, we'll go over exactly how to go through the steps of building out that surface. For now though, we're going to focus on on just constructing the profile curve. So, I'm going to maximize my front viewport. Let's take a closer look at what we've got here. So this is my profile…
