Editing layout pages, part 1

- [Instructor] In this video, we make a brand-new layout page. The focus will be on selecting and editing the various entities that come into the layout page and how a few extra layers can really clear up most of the confusion. I'm going to open up a few toolbars first for some of the commands we're going to be using quite a bit. I'm going to right-click on an empty space up here, Show Toolbar and then scroll down. The first one I want is called Block and then there's one called Layout a little farther down. Just click away and then we'll have those two new toolbars popped open and you can go ahead and dock these if you feel like you're going to use them quite a bit. I'm just going to leave them right here for the moment. So one smart way to operate is when you're adding more and more layout pages is starting to develop a system of blocks for elements that repeat quite a bit. Title block would be a great example.
