Editing solids

- There are many different ways to edit solid objects in Rhino 5 for Mac. Some of these we can find under the Solid menu, so, for instance, some of these Boolean operations we already talked about, and down here at the bottom, some additional commands specifically for editing solid objects. We can also do many of the same edits to solids that we do on surfaces, so, things like Trim and Split. Now, of course, if we're splitting or trimming a solid, chances are, it might not be solid after we finish. So, in this video, we're going to focus on solid editing tools that try to keep a solid surface intact without creating any open edges. Here, we have kind of a variation on the object we created in the freeform solids video. Notice there's one difference, though. It's a little bit thicker, so it's a thicker shell. Still solid, though. And I've constructed this slightly differently than what we went through step by step. So, if we take a look at the layers, let's turn off our solid for now…
