Editing surface control points

- [Instructor] Control Point editing, is one of the easiest ways to quickly change a surface in Rhino for Mac. To help us practice editing some surfaces, I've got the exercise file, surface-points.3dm open and we've got a few sets of surfaces here, that we can work with. Let's start with this pair of flat plains and let's see what we can do in terms of editing that surface. Now I'm going to go ahead and click to select. Let's go up to the Edit menu, control points and set control points on. Whoops now Rhino is telling me down in the command history, cannot turn on points for poly surfaces so what that's telling me is that, this is a poly surface, it's made up of, it looks like two sub surfaces. So let's go ahead and explode and we can get to that under the Edit menu or I'll just use the command icon here so explode into two individual surfaces and so that's going to give access to the control points.
