- [Instructor] In the last video, we took on extruding the solid base of our musical instrument. In this video, we'll tackle a very similar step which is to extrude the top wooden piece. So in Rhino, I'm working in the file instrument-setup.3dm, and in Grasshopper, I've got the file 0070-instrument-extrude-base. So if we just take a moment in Rhino to look and think about what's happening. So I've got the profile for my top. That's this rectangular shape running in the center. I'd like to extrude that up, so if I look from the side here I can see my base profile has been extruded down so I'd like to extrude in the opposite direction and that'll keep all my parts in the proper place. So we've actually got pretty much all of the structure that we need to make this extrusion happen. We've already set that up in our Make Basic Extrusion step so I'm just going to copy these components here and let's paste it over here and do our step.
