- [Narrator] Rhino for Mac integrates two newer features from OSX for managing files. Auto-save and Versions. Now, these features behave quite differently than what you might be used to if you're coming from Rhino for Windows. It's a little bit additionally confusing since not all programs that run on a Mac operate this way. And in fact, some programs use the same term "auto-save" and "versions" to describe different things. In the long run, though, these changes are actually really helpful to avoid say, losing data in a crash and to help make sure that what you see on screen is the same as the data that's saved in your file. To help us go through some of these differences, I've got the exercise file filemanagement.3d M open, and let's talk first about OSX auto save.
