Finishing schematic design

- In our last video we defined the problem, we did some research and we generated a good amount of ideas through sketches and clay models. Now is the time to fire up Rhino and start to do some modeling. First thing we should do is plan out how we're going to model our chair. One way to avoid many hours of frustrating modelling is to think about which tools in Rhino are best suited for what you're trying to do. I think if we look at these forms, I think we're going to want to start with modeling an overall form and then break that up into individual chairs. I can see a couple of commands that might be helpful for us. Maybe the Loft tool or maybe the Revolve tool. Let's jump into Rhino and try some of these out. Alright, so here I am in our Rhino model and I have this Loft Layer setup and you can see that I've already drawn some circles.
