Fixing bad objects

- [Instructor] We understand what bad objects are and what might cause them. Now let's look at a few examples of how to fix a bad object. Here in my example file, I have a site model of downtown Raleigh at the scale one to 40 and my intention is to 3D print each one of these buildings and add them back to my site model. Before I do that though, I want to make sure that all the geometry I'm printing is considered good. To do that let's type in our command Sell Bad Objects. Oh no. So unfortunately I have 10 poly surfaces that are considered bad geometry. I'm predicting that most of these issues that I'm coming across have to do with non-manifold edges. So if I select this model that's considered bad it's labeled as a non-manifold poly surface. So this happens a lot when you union objects together and they don't quite intersect.
