- [Instructor] In the prior lesson, we covered my very excellent checklist of filleting basics. In this lesson, we dig a little deeper and practice our skills with some more specialized examples of openings. Let's zoom in to this first object here and I'm just going to show you a couple of bad examples. This happens with about 90% of students first learning Rhino. They'll punch an opening and have no fillets whatsoever. Or if they do remember to put some fillets, they'll do them like this example here. So they remember to put the fillet in the outside edge but this sharp crossing edge is just not going to work and it's actually impossible to manufacture or would cause serious problems. So let's just remember our two pass rule that we've used for the outside of objects. Even though this is an opening and we're on the inside.
