Introduction to backdrop studio types
In this video, we'll check out our options for the Studio Backdrops. A backdrop consists of a floor and wall, but sometimes these two components are combined into one like we have seen with the 180 degree bowl used so far. Maximize this perspective view port here and zoom out. First up, we're going to check out the built in, infinite plane. So we go to the VRay tool bar. And right here is the add infinite plane. So just kind of magically appears there at the origin and going out. Now, it does have a physical size but when you render, it'll, it'll pretty much go out into the horizon. So, it's definitely quick and easy. I think it's best for high angle renderings. Looking down on objects. Not so good when you are any lower like this. The problem is, we're seeing the horizon. So, I would say, if the horizon's going to appear in a rendering from a lower view, then just don't use this infinite plane. In fact, I probably use this the least, just a few percent of the time.
