- [Tutor] We talked about some of the basic render settings in Rhino for Mac, as well as how to make adjustments and activate renders. Now let's talk about lighting. I've got the Exercise File Rendering.2light.3dm open. Here we have our same scene with a few different objects and a backdrop surface. Now, when I'm rendering, I like to get my lighting sort of roughed out before I deal with adding materials to objects. I know going into this, that my lighting, isn't going to be perfect and I'll still need to do some tweaks later on but the goal here in this video is to get us in the ballpark and that makes adjustments down the line easier, when we have to balance out for darker or lighter materials that could apply to our objects. One thing I've done, to make it a little bit easier for myself as I go through the rendering process is to add a Named View and we can get to our Name Views in the right sidebar. This little…
