Making complex forms from simpler forms

- [Dave Schultze] Curves are the foundation of Rhino. They make forms easier to build and easier to change. What's equally important is the surface strategies I have developed and perfected. These help you make complicated forms from just a few much simpler forms, like a potato chip. These strategies will help you be a better designer and 3D modeler. I've used these techniques successfully in my design consultancy and in the classroom. I've been teaching Rhino to college design students since 2002. Trust me, these ideas work. Oh, hey, I'm Dave Schultze. I'm an architect, product designer and entrepreneur who has used Rhino for over 20 years. This course is the kind of training I wish I had when I first learned Rhino. You'll learn in one hour what took me years to figure out. You're welcome. We then cover the basics of organic modeling. We can build from scratch using our own curves, or even pull curves from surfaces already made. Once a surface is built, we can still tweak the form with point editing. You'll be surprised how cool and easy this is to do. So what are you waiting for? Let's buckle up and go for a ride on the Rhino.
