Making and moving wall openings

- In this video we'll go over a few different ways to create openings in walls for your basic doors and windows. I'll also cover how to edit solids, which will work up almost any poly surface you can imagine. Let's start off with a simple rectangular door punched through a solid wall here on this back porch. We're going to zoom in. I'd like to draw a curve somewhere on this surface, but you'll notice my construction plane is up in a different orientation. Let's take care of that right now. I'm going to click on this plane right here. If we go over to the CPlanes menu, click on Set CPlane to object. Now I can draw directly on this surface. I'm going to draw a basic rectangle here on the main toolbar. If you do have snapping problems, which can happen, you can also just hit alt. That will turn off all the snaps. So I'm going to come over here and also go directly below. So that should be on the surface. Going to select that curve we just drew. Go to the Solid toolbar here. Extrude…
