Making openings on curved walls

- [Instructor] Coming right up, we'll create openings on a curved wall. Now most people, by default, will typically use straight extrusions for all openings, but that can work very poorly on curved walls. Let's take a look at some illustrations to highlight why extrusions will fail. Here on a flat wall, an extrusion will work perfectly and no problems. However, once you try to extrude on a curved wall, you typically run into problems, especially as you go around the corner. An opening that looks good in one area, like here, can get really extended or distorted along the other edge. So the process I'm gonna show you today is how to offset an opening along a curved wall so that it comes in perpendicular from all points. Here is one edge, here's the other edge, and it will be perpendicular everywhere in between. All right, let's start off with the simpler project method.
