Making sweep 1 rail surfaces - Rhino Tutorial
From the course: Learning Rhino 6 for Mac
Making sweep 1 rail surfaces
- [Instructor] Let's talk about creating surfaces, using the Sweep1 command in Rhino for Mac. Sweep1 makes a surface that passes, through one or more profile curves, and those act as cross sections, along with one rail curve that defines a surface edge. I've opened up surfaces-sweeps.3dm from the exercise files. And here, we've got a few different sets of curves, and surfaces to work with. So, let's start with these curves here. These are located in the Sweep1-A layer. So I'll just go ahead and toggle off, visibility for all the other layers, and set this to be the current layer. And we can zoom in a little bit, and get a closer look at what's happening. I can turn off my Gumball, and let's actually maximize perspective, that will make it a little bit easier to work. So, here I have one, rail curve, and, one, two, three profile curves. And, those will be the inputs for my Sweep1 Rail command. Let's go ahead and bring…
