Matching surfaces
- In this video, we'll take a look at rhinos match surface command, which adjusts a surface to match the continuity of another surface. For some practice, I've got the exercise file, Surface Match.3dm open. So here you can see we've got this sort of face or a vessel form, and while I had originally started out with a neck perfectly vertical. What I'd like is to actually have a little bit of a tilt. You can see here, I've started that process. I've cut the top off, I've tilted it, but now I need to sort of patch in the rest of the surface in between the top and the base and match surface is going to be great since we don't just need a straight cylindrical surface to match the two up. So let's go ahead up to the surface menu down to surface edit tools and select match. So you can see in the command line, we're being prompted to select an untrimmed surface edge to change.
