- [Voice Over] In this video, we'll take a look at Rhino's Ortho command. Which helps us to specify the angle of movement that the cursor is allowed to take. To help us practice with Ortho. I've got the exercise file modeling Ortho.3dm open. Now since this modeling aid applies to cursor movement that means we can use it for picking points in the view port we can also use it for moving objects around. So, its a very fundamental tool but its super useful in all sorts of different work flows. Lets go ahead and maximize the top view port. And we'll look at how we can use Ortho, in picking points in a view port. So lets say that I'm modeling a chess board here. I'd like to map out the squares of my chess board to be just a tad larger than the diameter of my biggest piece. So that's my Queen here.
