Modeling constraints: Planar

- [Instructor] Rhino's planar command gives us a very useful modeling aid for situations when we're drawing something or picking a point and there's not much to snap to. So I've got an example here in the exercise file modeling-planar.3dm. Let's say in this case we wanted to adjust this form to have a little spout. Maybe this is a form for a jug that we're going to cast or something like that. So I'd like a little bit of a protrusion here at the lip opposite the handle. Now, really a logical step in going through that process might be to draw out some construction curves just to act as a guideline or a sketch for what I'm going for in changing the forum. So let's try that in our perspective viewport, and I'll just get one of the freeform curve commands from the Curve menu. Let's go to Freeform. I think Control Points will work just fine for now. And I'm drawing this with grid snap on. So let's just try from perspective…
