Modeling constraints - Rhino Tutorial

Modeling constraints
- [Instructor] Rhino includes several sets of tools for constraining modeling operations to preserve accuracy and precision. In this video, we'll learn where these tools are located in the Rhino interface, and in other videos, we'll look more in depth at each one. To help us out, I've got the exercise file modeling-constraints.3dm open. On the lower panel of the left sidebar, we have some controls for Object Snaps, and these are tools that help us snap to parts of existing geometry as we're drawing new things. You can see here I have, under the persistent object snaps, the End, Near, and Midpoint snaps activated. So let's say that I wanted to draw a line from the midpoint of the edge of this cube. If I activate the line command and hover over the midpoint, you can see I get a little readout that I'm over the midpoint, and I can tell that I'm snapping to that location. Now, if I didn't have objects snaps activated, this…
