Modeling the through hole profiles
- In the last video we started on a first step and we finished the second step in our parametric definition for algorithmically designing a musical instrument. So, in this video, I'll work on the third step and in Rhino I've got the file instrument-setup dot three D M in Grasshopper I'm working the file zero zero two zero instrument base profile dot G H. So, let's take a look over here in our sketch. I've got my list of steps here from the algorithm I outlined in the first video. So, I'd like to focus on this one, make thru-holes so, let's just move this over closer to our existing definition here. And so in this step, what I'd like to do is add a couple of options to our user defined dimensions where I can set the thru-hole diameter and set the thru-hole spacing. So, the thru-holes are going to be three circles centered on the base of the instrument and those will give us places to mount our hardware, our machine screws to help everything bolt together.
