Moving and orienting

You might've noticed scaling your model and changing its units has moved your building in a weird orientation in space. So if we zoom out of our individual views you can see that our model is pretty far away from our origin, which isn't ideal. Because this building is so far away from its origin point it will be harder to use it as reference for building our skill model pieces later on. We need to ground this building by placing it flat against our X, Y, and Z axis. I suggest orienting your building based off of the most important structural components of your model. This might be different if you're using a different digital model from this course. I know though in this course that I'll be remodeling the walls of this building first. I'll also be using the walls as the primary structural components that will support all of these other scale model pieces. Because I know this is such an important part of my model, I think…
