You have just learned the first few steps in how to apply real world fabrication techniques to how you design a digital model. These concepts are the foundation for creating beautiful physical models. Moving forward, I encourage you to use the laser cut and 3D print files we created in this course and assemble these components in real life. If you're new to model building, your first attempts will not be perfect, but you'll learn a ton with the experience. If you don't have a full shop with a laser cutter or a 3D printer, you still have some options. One of the easiest ways to gain access to these tools is reaching out to a local makerspace.
