One-shot object snaps
- [Instructor] In this video, we'll take a look at One shot Object Snaps. To help us practice, I've got the exercise file, modeling-oneshot.3dm open. Most times when we're looking at our Object Snap settings in the left sidebar, we're looking at this set of Persistent Object Snaps. So those are the ones that will be active all the time. We've also got another set here, it's a little bit hidden, and it's under One shot. Now, when I was first learning Rhino these always confused me, cause they're always grayed out. The difference here, is that One shot Object Snaps only work, when we're being asked to pick a point in the viewport. And they're only active for that one point. They'll also override any of the Persistent Object Snaps, just for picking that one point. So that's kind of a mouthful, let's break down what that actually means.
